# Syllabus consistency

1. Identify the authoritative source, its internal revision date, and the proposed output. Report conflicting versions; do not choose merely by filename.
2. Record course title, code, term, meeting pattern, grading components, percentages, and dated assessments.
3. Compare before and after. Separate requested changes from unexpected differences.
4. Verify each grading component and the total. A correct total does not prove individual weights are correct.
5. Check dates against the supplied official calendar and meeting pattern. Count class sessions separately from weeks. Do not invent dates if the calendar is absent.
6. Check internal anchors and referenced resources where accessible; mark anything not verified.
7. Preserve policy wording unless the instructor explicitly requested a change. Keep private meeting credentials out of public reports.
8. Report: source, requested change, checks with evidence, problems by severity, and unresolved questions. Propose repairs separately; do not silently rewrite ambiguous facts.

For a teaching excerpt, limit the claim to the excerpt. Do not certify an entire syllabus from a partial view.
